FULTON'S COMMENTARY ON THIS ARTICLE: |
Given the state of modern education, it is a wonder any child develops into anything resembling a rational, human being. It is bad enough that children are taught a philosophy of moral relativism, but in recent years the cult of anti-knowledge has become increasingly dominant in our classrooms, teaching children that there are no right or wrong answers to anything, that only feelings matter, not knowledge or fact. This doctrine, in fact, represents the destruction of knowledge, of knowledge as a concept, of knowledge as such. It basically declares that there is no knowledge: this is what many modern educators are claiming that they know--they know there is no knowledge.
The destructive nature of modern education is delineated in Onkar Ghate's frightening article.
