STATISTS SEEK TO EXPAND FORFEITURE POWERS

FULTON'S COMMENTARY ON THIS STORY:

HR 3745 is currently before Congress.  By Congressional standards, this is a fairly short piece of proposed legislation.  The entire text of the bill is available by going to the link below.

This bill proposes to expand the powers of statists to seize your property.  Seizure and forfeiture powers should not be expanded, they should be repealed in their entirety.

In Fatal Blindness I warned about the dangers of crimes without definition and this proposed legislation is an example of such crimes.  "Money laundering" is the targeted crime.  There is no definition of this so-called crime in the text of the bill.  There should be no law regarding "money laundering" or anything else you might choose to do with your money.  Your money is your money and you have the right to decide how it is to be used and spent.

Statists forcibly take your money to finance the expansion of their power over you.  They have forcibly imposed limits on your campaign contributions to political candidates, rationing what you may do with your money.   Until statists are hung out to dry, your life and money will never be safe.
